1st Position Scales 1 Lesson Sample (Downloadable) This lessons teaches the notes and fingering for the C, G, D, A, Am, Em, Bm and F#m scales in 2 octaves. This helps the student understand what notes make up each of these scales and also gives a review of the notes in first position. This lesson is a great accompaniment to any of the Intro courses for the guitar as well as Guitar Theory 1. Each scale is played slowly and then taught in short sections totally "by ear."
