Satie's Gymnopedies have a distinctive jazzy soft rock sound to them even though they were written in the late 1800's to early 1900's. It is easy to hear his influence in the upcoming genre's of the mid to late 1900's. This early minimalist piece is not difficult to play and is easy to learn and memorize when you learn it by ear.
